Hi Guys! I've had a recent problem whereas when I have the browser app open and I select a letter or number on the virtual keyboard it enters the figure twice, that also goes for the back button as well as all keystrokes. I can only resolve the issue by restarting the headset, but at some point it will start again, but not immediately. Has anyone else come across this issue. Thanks!

I had the same issue today. I thought it was a hardware issue because when i bumped the controllers together it went away.

I've got exactly the same issue, and bumping them together is temp fixing it for me too. Usually only happens when I first turn the Oculus on, but has happened at other points.

This is also happening to me but I thought I was because I hit the wall really hard with it

Rest assured it is Software based. I have never damaged or mistreated my controllers. Notice when in a game that utilizes the left grip trigger, buttons on the right controller are NOT affected in the incorrect way.

Hello everyone! Having extra inputs can surely disrupt your gaming, and isn't going to provide the VR experience we want for our Oculus family members. With that being said, we would love to provide some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get your controllers to stop inputting more times than actioned!
We like to recommend unpairing and repairing your controllers giving them a fresh connection. You can find out How to Unpair and Repair your Controllers through the hyperlink! We also like to recommend taking the batteries out for at least 30 minutes to let the compositor completely drain before putting them back in!
We hope that these steps help get your controllers back to normal! If not, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via our email and chat support options by Submitting a Support Ticket through the hyperlink to see what options we have available to you!

Ok, thanks for the correspondence. Repairing the controllers does not alleviate the issue nor does changing to brand new batteries. Do you find it strange to advise "draining" batteries for 30 minutes by removing them from a circuit? What is a "compositor"? I worry the misunderstanding is, this IS a software issue. No amount of replacing, repairing, or reapplying batteries will resolve the problem. A firmware update is required. Thank you for further interest and guidance otherwise.
