Right lens failed after 2 weeks

A week ago and 2 weeks after receiving the Rift, the right lens failed completely and does not come on.  This occurred during a video playback.  I reinstalled, unconnected and reconnected all cabling.  Nothing has fixed issue.

Submitted a ticket 8 days ago.  Received a response within 24 hours asking me to follow install procedures as if no lens working.  Replied it was one lens and sent screenshot.  Heard back within 15 minutes they will need to troubleshoot.

That was 7 days ago and 3 one way emails to support without a single response.  Am turning to boards since very frustrated that I cannot get customer support to respond and figure out what is wrong with my unit.  Frustrated since was giving a demo to son's school that was considering purchase and had to reschedule.

Any ideas on what to do?

How can the lens fail?  It's just a chunk of plastic.  There's nothing too fail.

Or did your right screen fail?

Looking at the tags I'd say he has a blank screen. So looks like it failed. Hope you get a response soon mate !!!
