im a week in working on this well 16 hours a day.

I have the Link software i connect the headset to wifi it then stops at update screen with the this is the code and -connect to your orginization... you know..   and it says 'pair your headset to the metahorizon app to continue.'   well sure.   the code insert does not pop up on pc (ive seen it happen later when device was working when i clicked the setting in headset (enable airgap airlink?(will disable lead))  THERE IT WAS after all that. But going back im trying a more solid install just now. (note1)

I had the bluetooth in the pc tested at the shop .i just askd the guy i bought it from if the headset bluetooth is err,  but i remember using it with fallout steam vr. So what is powering the handsets on steamvr if not bluetooth in the device and bluetooth is all fine.    Maybe there some complicated permisions that mean it wont work on the setup.

(NOte1) BUt advice on utube using this Metaquest Development hub software i managed to force and rattle the thing through to working. for a few days i played on the meta games hub and also on steam vr on my computer.

I dont understand the handsets must be talking  with the bluetooth in the headset  when playing on Meta store games. ANd then the same or to the bluetooth on pc when in steam vr.

BUt fresh install factroy reset downloaded...as above

I think the problem is its designed for mobiles i will try get that

As you know, Air Link allows you to connect your headset to your computer over Wi-Fi to unlock a more immersive, powerful and richer PC VR experience. If you experience issues with your Air Link setup, please make sure to check out the recommended specs for Windows PC requirements to use Meta Quest Link.

Also, check how to connect your headset using Wi-Fi:

1. Press Meta button/ Oculus button on your controller to open the universal menu.
2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open Quick settings.
3. Select Settings in the top right, then select Link.
4. Check that the toggle next to Use Air Link is enabled.
5. Select your PC in the list of available PCs, then select Pair.
6. A pairing code will appear in your headset. Confirm that the code you see on your computer matches the one that you see in your headset.
7. Click Confirm from the computer app, then put your headset back on.
8. Select Launch to begin using Air Link.
