I have created an account for my 10 years old child to use Meta Quest 3, but I cannot get past the page that requests me to confirm the use of cookies after I sign in.
I have tried logging in with the Meta Horizon app and Chrome browser in his tablet. I have tried with Firefox Mobile and Chrome in my phone. And have tried with Chrome in a laptop. The result is always the same: after signing in with email and password, i am taken to a page with title "Allow the use of cookies from Meta?". At the end of the page there is a button with label "Confirm". I press/click the button and nothing happens. I already tried pressing it many times, but nothing happens.
Is this a system bug or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

I was Informed on the 1st November they was looking into it when they past my case over to some sort of technical support as their recommendations I tried did not work
26 days later, repeat emails with repeat troubleshoot guides, to then just being ignored is why I returned the headset.
Unacceptable in my opinion, I just hope they sort all this out for all with this problem before Christmas because I imagine many children might have this as a Christmas gift and they will be unhappy children on Christmas day for the parents who have not tried to set this up before hand. So glad I did!

Having the exact same issue. My son just got a Quest 3 for his 11th Birthday. I've created a parental account added him as child online but when I try add his account to the headset which then sends him a link to log in via the app he's unable to get past the accept cookies, tapping the button does nothing.

Just had an online support chat, the operative has escalated it to higher support who will get back to me in 3-5 days apparently.

Yes I went through the same thing. The email support took a while before they believed it was an actual problem, it was quite frustrating. Hopefully having more people emailing them might help.

I sent the link to this forum post in the chat so they could see others are having the same issue.

It is really frustrating to hear that there are a lot of people are facing this issue.
I have messaged Meta support and they suggested to hard boot the headset which I did and I’m still facing the same issue where I can’t bypass the cookies page! Tried to clear cookie and caches etc and still the same! 🤦🏻:male_sign:

Yes I also found they kept suggesting generic solutions like hard reset, clearing cache, different browser etc. That made me feel like they weren’t taking it seriously. However I do think they’ve acknowledged the problem now.

Received a further email overnight from "Meta Store Support's specialized team" so it does look like they're looking at the issue.
