I have created an account for my 10 years old child to use Meta Quest 3, but I cannot get past the page that requests me to confirm the use of cookies after I sign in.
I have tried logging in with the Meta Horizon app and Chrome browser in his tablet. I have tried with Firefox Mobile and Chrome in my phone. And have tried with Chrome in a laptop. The result is always the same: after signing in with email and password, i am taken to a page with title "Allow the use of cookies from Meta?". At the end of the page there is a button with label "Confirm". I press/click the button and nothing happens. I already tried pressing it many times, but nothing happens.
Is this a system bug or am I missing something?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an update regarding the issue with adding a child account to the Meta Quest 3. Like many of you, I encountered the same problem where the "Confirm" button on the "Allow the use of cookies from Meta?" page did nothing. Here's what I did:
Browsers and Modes Tried:
Edge (InPrivate/Incognito mode) on PC: Same result, no errors given.
Firefox (on PC): Success 🎉 after sending a new link because the previous one expired after 15 minutes.
Technical Details:
Used the Network console in Developer tools in Edge and downloaded a .har file.
Found the following error in the file:
{ "errors": [{ "message": "A server error field_exception occurred. Check server logs for details.", "severity": "CRITICAL", "code": 1675030, "summary": "Query Error", "description": "Error performing query." }] }
Solution:
After trying Firefox on PC with a new link, I was able to successfully set up my daughter's account on the Quest 3 🎉.

That's great! Unfortunately, I just downloaded Firefox and copy/pasted the link in there. I had exactly the same result with the confirm button not working.
Any ideas on what might be different?

Bummer – sorry to hear that. My Firefox is version 130.0.1 (64-bit), and the only extension installed is a password manager, so pretty much untouched, like yours.
The only difference that I can think of since the very first time I tried to connect the account, is that I purchased a game in the Quest store today.
Also, I rage-clicked the "Confirm"-button (in Edge) like a madman (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

I there a solution to this issue yet, it is driving me mad, I can't click on the button on either the Meta Horizon app or the Headset, don't understand how this was tested.

Same situation here. Changing between browsers (Mozilla Firefox > Vivaldi > Google Chrome > Microsoft Edge) and switching between Private Window/Incognito Window/InPrivate Tab did not help either.
I strongly believe we are facing a real issue with kids account.

Hi I managed to contact metaquest admin on this forum, they sent me a link that got round this problem

Hi there, can you elaborate more on that link please? Is it account specific? I have already contacted meta and after trying their suggestions they from various methods to factory rest the last suggestion was to submit a bug report or whatever they called it!

Hoping that someone can post a link to fix this.. the only temp solution I had was to make her 13 and a teen account .. not ideal

I'm having the same issue too and wondering if after you set her account as 13 and accepted the cookies, can you change her age back to 10-12?
