My Palo Alto firewall is showing a 5 risk on SOPCAST coming from my son's Meta Oculus device. Is this normal to be part of Oculus? Also, it shows traffic even if it is off and charging. For that reason I point the headset to that wall just in case someone is hacking the camera. Why is there traffic if the device is charging and not being used?

This is a great question and we can say that the headset should be updating constantly and staying connected to the internet via the Meta Horizon mobile app, so that might account for that traffic. Please keep in mind that we recommend disabling any VPNs, firewalls, or antivirus that might be running in the background, as they have been known to affect the connection to the Meta servers.
