Looked at a bunch of other posts and cant solve this issue. My headset was working fine until today where i was forced to get a using a meta account. Since then all i get is a "Facebook Session Expired" error. I've uninstalled Facebook and Oculus apps and reinstalled, no change. I created a new FB account and Linked it but again when i open the Oculus Gear VR app i get that error, rebooted the device, no change, removed all FB accounts from my device (S9+) and added only the new account, no change. My old Oculus account doesn't work as i get a "No network Connection" error there. WTF is up with Meta forcing users into this crap that is rife with issues. And I cant raise a ticket because there is no support option for Gear VR. And I refuse to buy a $400 headset just on principle...My existing one worked just fine until today.

I cannot log in to the Gear VR Oculus application even though I tried every method. I'm using developer mode but need to unplug VR to switch apps. The Oculus app needs to be updated. Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920C Android 7.0
Requirements for the solution:
Patch the Oculus app and fix the login.
Alternative: You must release a patch to be able to use Oculus portless glasses.

Funny how such a large company cant even get login to work....... All there responses are very generic too. Gear VR is at end of life? Determinded by who Meta? Mine was working fine until Meta changed things..... Could of kept using for many more years.

I have Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I'm trying to download VR Apps but I'm not able to. First i had instant network error. I read online that i should put in sim card and after that im getting "failed to install samsung gallery" error.
Is it even possible to make this work or samsung and meta just completly broke its on purpose to force people to buy new phone and gogles?

Trying to install so I can use gear vr on my Samsung s9. Android software is v10 so compatible. I've inserted phone into gear vr which says to install apps. When trying this I just get network errors. I've even tried downloading some of the apps listed from other sources but they won't install on the phone
