Looked at a bunch of other posts and cant solve this issue. My headset was working fine until today where i was forced to get a using a meta account. Since then all i get is a "Facebook Session Expired" error. I've uninstalled Facebook and Oculus apps and reinstalled, no change. I created a new FB account and Linked it but again when i open the Oculus Gear VR app i get that error, rebooted the device, no change, removed all FB accounts from my device (S9+) and added only the new account, no change. My old Oculus account doesn't work as i get a "No network Connection" error there. WTF is up with Meta forcing users into this crap that is rife with issues. And I cant raise a ticket because there is no support option for Gear VR. And I refuse to buy a $400 headset just on principle...My existing one worked just fine until today.

If there's any Android developers around who is also having this problem with Gear VR, could you try running an API development tool like Postman to capture the API requests to Oculus login from a Samsung phone?
It might give an indication of whether the fault exists within the app or the web service it is trying to reach.
If the app is not generating the submission to the server at all, we can assume there is something broken in the app like an expired certificate perhaps.
If the request is being sent but is rejected by the server with a rejected response, then the error code returned by the web service could give more information as to why the problem exists.
If a message is sent but no response is received or the endpoint does not exist, we can determine the fault is somewhere on the server side like the API has been upgraded or renamed (creating an incompatibility perhaps).
Those familiar with web app development should find this easy to try.
Try it and share your results here.

This has been a bug for way longer than 3 weeks. It’s been over one year.

Have I understood something wrong?
Am I doing something wrong?
I don't know, but it still doesn't work.
If I write the wrong password (will I be told that)
If I type the passwords, I think it should be, it says (no internet connection) "ingen internetanslutning" (in Swedish)
Can't even set it up so I get an email when someone replies to the thread in this forum. (but maybe it should be that way)
