Looked at a bunch of other posts and cant solve this issue. My headset was working fine until today where i was forced to get a using a meta account. Since then all i get is a "Facebook Session Expired" error. I've uninstalled Facebook and Oculus apps and reinstalled, no change. I created a new FB account and Linked it but again when i open the Oculus Gear VR app i get that error, rebooted the device, no change, removed all FB accounts from my device (S9+) and added only the new account, no change. My old Oculus account doesn't work as i get a "No network Connection" error there. WTF is up with Meta forcing users into this crap that is rife with issues. And I cant raise a ticket because there is no support option for Gear VR. And I refuse to buy a $400 headset just on principle...My existing one worked just fine until today.

With samsung vr gear and s7 I cannot activate the oculus app. It either says there is no internet connection, or after making a Facebook and meta account of says it cannot connect with a Facebook account. So I am totally unable to use the vr gear. In previous posts I noticed that assistance from helpdesk is needed, so please contact me to resolve this.

If you've previously used a Facebook account to log into your Samsung Gear VR, you must create a Meta Account in order to continue using your device. For more information, follow this link! If you are still receiving an error regarding your internet connection or log in after creating a Meta Account, please don't hesitate to reach back out!

Unfortunately, when I want to login on Oculus app with my meta account, it says the password is incorrect. The only other option is to login using Facebook, but the I get the message that this is not possible.
I have not used the vr gear nor the oculus app previously, so I am trying to login on the oculus app for the first time.
And still no succes.

Hi again @Ahoe1! Thank you for providing that screenshot as it was very helpful. Have you attempted resetting your password for your Meta Account? Use this link to log in, click "continue with email" and start the process to reset your password. Once you've completed this step, attempt to pair your device with the app. Let us know if this help!
