Just have to sue meta Facebook it's against the law to keep your gear vr hostage...just like Nintendo playstation Xbox you own the unit for life so you can play your games you bought digital copy or disk or cartridges
Yea...like you people didn't know why don't you meta Facebook give our games and the software so we can use the Samsung gear vr instead of blocking it , what rights have you I want to use my gear vr just like I use my Nintendo switch what your doing us against the law you meta Facebook should be sued for holding gear vr from people who paid money I think we should get a government representative to get this justified like anything else out there why do I have to have your permission to use my f'ng Samsung gear vr I own it you just sell it
Yea they're playing games this meta Facebook why do we have to try to do it differently it's simple just give the software and all the games we purchased and leave gear vr alone
I tried it a little while ago - I got the usual update request, but it quickly resolved without me having to perform the workaround. Seems to be working so far, even after phone restart. I appreciate the Eng team's work to resolve this. As a QA engineer I'd be curious what the problem was and if my theories (bad file pushed to prod OR file link broken/expired) were correct, although that may be too much info to ask for. Thanks again, seems resolved for real.
LOL nothings resolved, same still message with my galaxy 10s and gear vr. ITS DOES NOT SUPPORT GEAR VR!!!! SOmething about UI4 isnt supported and Gear VR cant run. Its a big shame really when we paid for this back then and have loads of games and other stuff we cant use anymore!!!!!!!!!!
I have a gear vr with note 9 that worked until 3 weeks ago. It says tk update apps. But when I follow prompts....it shows no apps to update. Its a heading that says select app tk update but there are no visible apps......did meta just intentionally brick my hear vr that I have owned for 4 years? This needs to be fixed!!!!!
