I am having the problem today, July 1, 2024. Previously, when I attached my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 running on Android version 10 to my Samsung Gear VR, everything worked great. But not today. Today, when I attach my Note 9 to the Gear VR, I am being instructed to detach my phone from the Gear VR headset and update the VR apps. When I attempt to comply, the Gear VR setup wizard is indicating that there is a network error. Also, it lists which apps are to be updated, but they each are displaying 0.0MB data size.
I have seen different solutions here but I have also read that some of you are no longer successfully able to connect. What is a solution for today, July 1, 2024?
Nice try, but no, I don't see it. Furthermore, The most recent messages leading up to the entry of my comment also indicate that it's not working for them either as it is shown in this screenshot attached hereto. I don't speak French either.
I noticed that enabling my other VPN service I use for professional reasons disables net guard. Is netguard required to be turned on 24 hours, 7 days a week, in order for Oculus to not revert back to the issue related to the setup wizard? It would seem so.
