I am selling my Quest 2 to a friend with children who will get more use out of the system than my wife and me. Do I reset the system to factory settings then delete my account or vice versa?
I would love to let them play the games we have already purchased but don't want to leave my purchasing method information on the system, kids will be kids sometimes. If there is a way to give them access to those games and change the purchasing method to their father's way of purchasing that would be helpful too. Thanks much for your time.

Hey Steve! We see you're thinking about gifting your Quest 2 to a friend's family and you have concerns about the factory reset and gifting the games. What a nice gesture! We recommend a factory reset and then account deletion. Since the games are attached to the account, you will not have a way to gift the games you've already purchased to the new Oculus owner without giving them access to your account. Wij hebben een 2e hands oculus 2 gekocht. Wij hebben wel de inlog gegevens van de vorige eigenaar. Is het dan wel mogelijk de spellen te behouden en de bril te resetten?
Kunnen we de bestanden niet overzetten op onze pc en na het resetten weer terug plaatsen op de VR bril?

Dumb question, but I just did a factory reset on my Oculus 2. I'd like to sell it. How do I delete my account? Can anyone access my account from my Oculus 2 if I already did the factory reset?

Heya ErikG2022! No question is a dumb question, that's how people learn! We certainly recognize your reluctance to sell your device due to the possibility of your account still being active on it. Luckily after you do a factory reset on the device, everything on it will be completely erased. That includes the account on the device, it'll be like a brand new device!

This is old, but in case anyone comes across it...
WOW... you are a "community manager" and you provided such a terrible and incorrect solution? DELETE their account? Are you insane? If he gets a new headset later, he would lose all his purchases deleting the account... SMH...
