Well, I just tried updating the drivers. I set a system restore point, just to be safe.
I found the most recent driver to be the Fresco Logic FLUSB3.0-3.8.33709.0
It fails to install. It says something is wrong with the package, the installer terminated early.
It also said, nothing was changed on my system. Strangely enough after next reboot, a windows message said, another reboot was required in order to "finish installing the device". However, after that all is as it was before.
Other users reported the same issue. And for some, that could install the driver, it didn't change a thing about the oculus warning message.
So, if the software gives warnings / recommendations, there should be some reason for it. Please let us know those and what exactly to do about it or remove those silly warnings.
