Sensor not detected and hardware issue pop up

i have had a nightmare for 2 days trying to get the rift to work but I've finally given up 😕 I'm a brand new user and in the set up stage everything is fine until it comes to the sensor part after pairing the Xbox remote and I am getting a hardware pop up and then my sensor is saying it's not being detected.
I have tried to uninstall, update drivers etc, find fixes online but none work! Can someone help as my computer is compatible its brand new just for this VR but wish I never bothered now after reading so many horror stories.

Don't give in yet. But it may be a sensor problem which oculus would have to solve. If the pc and rift is still less than a week old then curry's should exchange it.

I've seen this post but can't find the sensor in device manager but can find c:\program files>Oculus VR runtime drivers>Drivers>Rift Sensor but don't know what to do

Where you see rift sensor try right clicking I think then update driver. Where ever you can just try to update that driver 😉

It's sounding like a Hardware fault then, get back to Curry's and kick up a stink. Open tomorrow 😉

I'm gonna have to mate, I ordered the rift then realised my IMAC wouldn't power it then bought an 1100 quid laptop which wasn't good enough then I did some research and paid a grand for the predator, I should of just took the rift back to the store and got my money back but like a plonker I spent a fortune just so this VR works! There's loads of horror stories about connection errors on the net and none of them have been solved apart from that one that you sent me a link to, I've tried that and still no joy. Let's see what happens tomorrow I'll probably just get another rift when I go to the store while I wait for the refund for the other lol and if that doesn't work then I'm kicking right off lmao
