New to the Oculus system, having just replaced my HP Reverb G2 with a quest 3.
So far very impressed, but having come from WMR and Steam VR, are there any plans to allow you to set game specific resolutions and refresh rates from within Oculus Link App (as per SteamVR), rather than just the master setting for the headset as it is now?

Best way to do this is to use the free app Oculus Tray Tool. I've used this for +6 years starting with my Rift cv1 and it still works great, I mainly use its game profiles to help finetune super sampling and asw mod settings.

Just make sure you read the manual in its program file directory beforehand.

@TrickyDee42 you could try the Quest games Optimiser which allows you to adjust headset settings for games.

Interesting, as I was unaware of that app. But unless I'm missing somewthing, it seems to affect on Quest apps. I was more interested in changing the resolution of games pushed from SteamVR on my PC. I know i can change the settings before launching the game using the Oculus Link App. but i wondered if there was a way to create profiles for each game that would run when launched. i.e rFactor 2 could automaticaly run with a resolution multiplier of 1.5 and refresh rate of 120 and Automobalista with a resolution multiplyer of 1.1 and a refresh rate of 72

@TrickyDee42 I'm not aware of a specific app that will do what you need, but you could create batch files which would apply the settings per game using the OTT or the debug tool with a single click. Microsoft copilot or google gemini could write the .bat files for you.

I had wondered about OTT. But was hoping it may be implemented direct in the Oculus Link App.
Thanks for help guys.

Tried OTT this evening, and it looks exactly like what I am after, but I'm having issues with it recognising the launches from steam. Works with some, not with quite a lot. Also, does it revert back to default settings when the game is is closed

Should say. I'm on win 11 and a quest 3

Ya, it should revert back to your global settings after exiting a game. You can always check ODT to see if this is the case. If you are having problems with some SteamVR games launching, try increasing the 2x time settings to 8-9 from default 5. Also, there is a manual within your OTT program folder and your should give this a good read. All works well with my Q3 and QPro using Win11.
Make sure to set your StreamVR visual settings manually (not auto) to 100% and disable advanced super sample filtering.
Also, go to your win11 graphics settings and disable hardware acceleration graphics (HAGS). It is enabled by default with wi11 and can cause some problems in VR. After you disable it you need to restart your PC.
