Shared Account Not Listing Apps

Hi,
I purchased 2 256GB Oculus Quest 2 units for my family of 5 (my wife and 3 kids and myself) to spend more quality time together.  I setup the initial unit with my account, enabled the sharing under Experimental Features as well as App Sharing under my account.  I then added my wife's FB account. We have experienced a few issues:
1)  When adding my wife's FB account, the first time you are prompted to add the username/email and password, you click on the username field and the keyboard appears for about 3 seconds before it disappears again going back to the previous screen  Once you click again, you are able to properly add the account.
2)  When we want to play using both sets, we have to login to the unit that has my wife's sub account first, switch accounts to her account and the launch the second unit before we can play.  If we don't, the units freeze from what I can only believe is a login issue with having 2 headsets using the same login at the same time.  I assume you can't login on multiple units with the same account.
3) I bought a new game with my primary account using my unit that only has my primary account on it.  I then shut that unit down and turned my other unit on that has my wife's shared account on it and the new app shows up on my account but does not show up when I switch to my wife's account.  We have another app that this did work properly for.  My wife's account does not appear to be seeing any of the new apps we buy.
4)  We really need the ability to buy the apps 1 time and use them as a family in order to get the most out of our $1,000 investment in your product.  If we can get these issues resolved, we would be interested in getting headsets for everyone in the family but can't justify it when we can't easily share apps we buy as a family.

Any guidance with these issues would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

App Sharing applies automatically to all new apps in the Oculus Quest Store from this date forward. As of today, a limited number of existing games will not yet be available through App Sharing unless players purchase their own copy, but over time we expect most of these apps to support additional users as well. For more information on Multi-User and App Sharing, including details on enabling these features, you can visit our support center.

- Statement released by Oculus on February 18, 2021.

Should answer a bunch of the lingering questions in this thread.

Thanks for your reply, but the steps had been followed correctly. I read all the documentation. The problem is a bug that should be acknowledged, investigated, identified, and corrected in the next software update.

Yes, this is a separate issue than what we are all having. It is a relitevely unknown bug that makes all of your shared apps disappear. (including all of the apps that work with sharing and free apps). Oculus has not made an official statement on this bug yet.

Having read all posts in this thread I come to the conclusion “app sharing” is far from a fully working feature with quest 2.  As such I will postpone the purchase of a second quest 2 as I have zero intention of buying the games again!

i am relatively new to quest 2 and in the main think its a great piece of kit.  However it appears from this thread a lot of work is “still in progress”.  Not good!

Is there a Solution Right now? I have the same bug and it Is so frustrating 😞

It is still an issue. I got it to work in late April but logged into shared account today and none of the apps show up in library.

Same! It is so frustrating 😒 Me and Brother bought the quest 2 because of this Feature.

Since around the v29 update we have noticed this weekend that the shared apps no longer list on the secondary account.   We have been using this feature for many months so I am referring to titles that do share.   Tried many things and have done a factory reset twice.   still no dice , shared apps lists (0) on secondary account . I see no resolution for this after 24hrs of scouring the web . WTF Oculus

Yes App sharing is totally broken. Post says fixed? it isn't! I've tried raising support tickets in the past but it's just so hopeless I gave up after a month, same every time I've tried. Once something happens to corrupt a sub-account at Oculus end then no amount of factory resetting can fix it. The only solution I've found is to delete the Facebook account and create a new one but then you have to re-add Oculus contacts + lose progress.

I have three sub-accounts and the other two still work but this one (the person who uses headset most nowadays) now shows shared apps = zero. You can go to the app in the store and it even says it's available via app-sharing but it's not. App-Sharing was working for a few months after a lot of hassles to get it working but I disabled it on Q2, to try app-sharing on Quest 1 (added in v29) to see if the missing apps (Go apps upgraded to Quest in 2019) might work on that (nope still broken). But when I switched app-sharing back to Quest 2, two accounts no longer worked with app-sharing. I got one back by removing account completely from Quest 1 (I'd just switched app sharing off but left accounts on there), but endless attempts to resurrect this account have failed.

So I think I'll probably just disable multi-accounts. When it worked before it was OK (despite lots of apps not sharing that should) I've wasted so much time on it, time to give up. It's a shame that the coders for the UI + Oculus support are so hopeless (worse I've ever encountered by miles) as they seriously let the rest of the product down. It's been three months and still totally broken so will NEVER work reliably as it's clearly an unfixable mess or would be fixed in a day by any competent coder. I'd turn it off and move on. I've come to realise that cost is the only pro the Quest 2 has. If MS/Sony put out a console as buggy as this (two years after release of Q1) they'd be destroyed, but there's no competition at this price point so Oculus can just put out endless buggy releases, mark everything as experimental for a year, and ignore the please of the users aka beta testers.

PS - Even this forum after hitting reply, asked me to log in (even though was already logged in) losing the entire post!  and social media is FB's main game! However I put it in clipboard before hitting reply as I know not to trust their code, so nothing lost.
