Shared accounts

So my 2 nephews have a shared oculus account, shared email & facebook accounts & 2 oculus head sets. My son has his own accounts & vr head set. When they try to play together only 1 of my newphews can join at 1 time. Is there a way all 3 of them can play together? They are trying to join on gorilla tag. Thanks

Hey @boyd.dao. I'd be glad to help clear things up! As for this becoming a feature, in my opinion, I don't think this is something that we would be able to implement since the accounts are meant to be used by 1 person at a time.

The best solution we have for this would be to add 1 account to both headsets, turn on app sharing for the second headset and then add a secondary account so that they can both play together.

Hi there! We understand your nephews share an account and are trying to play the same game on two different devices. While simultaneous login is supported, simultaneous play is not. This would be the reason they cannot play the same game under the same account on two different headsets.

Hey Aaron, sounds like you're dealing with the issue outlined here. I'd definitely recommend looking at that thread and dropping a reply there so we can further document this issue.

Take your destiny into your own hands. Sand cannot keep a shape by itself, but add water and it becomes malleable. Fate can be such, if you add the right element.

Are you going to inform "Oculus Support" to stop telling people false information? You've acknowledged this as a known issue.

Will this be updated in the future. This is the only reason I bought a second meta quest. So that my son and daughter can play gorilla tag together. I would hate to create a secondary meta account just so they can play together
