Sharing guest games

As title says, i used to share a quest with someone, and i bought a couple games on their account, but i got a new  quest 3 and i added them, assuming i could play my games on my account because game sharing is a thing on quest, is it possible to share games from a guest account?

No, it’s the admin account that shares games.

The guest account has their own games plus those that the admin account has.

(I 100% could be mistaken, this is the experience I have with a Quest 2 set up.)

I know just enough about tech to look like I know what I'm doing.

Hi @Sith_Benji 🙂

@Das.Bearski is correct....only the admin can share games.

The only option to get the games which you've purchased to your device would be:

set up your Quest 3 with the account that was used to purchase those games, add your account as the second one and turn on app sharing on on this headset, while its turned off on the older headset from your friend.

But having someone else as a admin on your own device is not a really good solution, I think.

I would consider, buying those games again with your own account instead of doing that....but that's totally up to you.
