The first times I charged the Meta Quest 3, it charged quickly. I've heard about 2 hours for full charge, and quicker of course in the beginning. That seems on-par with my experience.
But now, after a couple of charges up to 50-80%, it suddenly charges super slowly.
It went from 9% to 19% in almost two hours. I tried to connect it and disconnect it several times, but it still charges super slowly. It's now 20% (from 19%) in 15 minutes. What is going on?
I'm using the official charger, but I did try with another one as well with the same result. What is wrong?

I have tried all of the steps in this and it still showing me the slow charge rate. I am using the OEM charger and cable.

When I do this I get the Android robot on it's back with its front door open and a warning icon with the words "No Command" underneath it.
Had my Quest 3 for a week and thought it was weird that sometimes it gave no warnings and charged quickly, but then other times I'd get 'slow charging' messages despite using the exact same wall chargers and cables.
I have this happen whether I use the official charger and cable, or a 3rd party 25w 3amp USB-C charger and cables or a combination of both.
I guess I have the shutdown/reboot issue also. I noticed that sometimes when I turn the quest 3 after I've previously 'shut down' on it turns on almost straight away, but other times it will take longer and play the boot jingle/tones.
I'm guessing if I turn it on and get no sound and a quicker start I'll now know I won't be getting proper power delivery 😐
Pretty bad design decision or coding if 'shut down' doesn't actually shut down or is completely random. Why not have actual separate 'sleep' and 'shut down' buttons on the menu, and have the shut down button actually shut the Quest 3 down completely?
Again, following the power and volume+ button combo does nothing for me except get me to a warning screen where I cannot do anything and then have to hold down the power button for a very long time to get the machine to reboot.
Maybe you should add these things to your tutorial apps. "First Steps: How to make your Quest 3 actually work properly!"
If only things still came with actual detailed physical manuals that covered this stuff....

Hey @RabidRaccoon! Just wanted to jump in here and help with the 'no command' issue. This usually comes on the screen when holding the Power and Volume Up (+) buttons instead of the Power and Volume Down (-) button. You'll want to double check which volume button you're holding and make sure it's the correct one.
If that doesn't help out, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to @MetaQuestSupport either through a private message or support ticket. This way they can get a look into any other warranty options they might have.

Sorry I accidentally typed I was pressing (+)
I was holding down the power and volume down (-) buttons.
Fixed the problem I was having. Turns out I had a faulty link cable.
