Slow to get connected to internet after power on. (60+ seconds)

After I power off and back on again. It takes as long as 70 seconds to get traffic moving to and from the internet. Despite seeing the MAC address of my quest 3 in the address table, and a successful IP address negotiated before the device finishes loading, it can't pull data. The horizon feed shows "no internet connection" and the stock browser hangs waiting to load the welcome screen (which apparently can't be changed). If I go directly to wifi settings it says "connected, unmetered, transmit link speed 676, receive link speed 626". I am using the device MAC instead or randomized MAC, have the IP reserved. and bypass any firewall rules or filtering. It's almost as if it's unable to resolve the DNS. I have tried changing the assigned. Dns address In the DHCP configuration and that doesn't fix it either. Plus, no other devices on my network are having this issue or problems resolving DNS Period.

Going to another wifi band (2.4 from 5) or using the band steering wifi SSID makes no difference. Same issue as someone else's house so I don't believe it is specific to my network (Firewalla Gold, Cisco switch, Orbi Pro mesh).
