Our facebook account was hacked. We were eventually able to regain control of it. However, that person created a fake meta account linked to our facebook with a whole bunch of credit cards (not ours) linked to it. When we try to remove the newly added meta account, it sends a code to the fake email (bardhaostnes7@hotmail.com) that originally took over our account and created 2FA sending the code to remove back to his email - locking us out...we eventually got in using photo ID. Facebook reached out and said to report the fraudulent account to meta, but didn't really explain how.
How to we delete that fake meta account? We do not want to be tied to all the fraudulent credit cards attached to it, nor lose our FB account again. That person already scammed hundreds from out friends and family through fake posts.
