Late November my Facebook account was hacked, and the hacker scammed people out of money. It took a few days, but I was able to recover my account. Both my Facebook and Instagram have been working great for a month. Just the other day I re-linked them to post a story. My Instagram got disabled, saying I had violated policies, but I was able to quickly fix that with a review. Note: That same exact issue has happened several times, but I keep being able to re-enable the account without issue. However, my Facebook account has told me that it is disabled due to me violated Instagram policies. The prompt I get tells me to login to Instagram to appeal, but I'm able to login to Instagram from that page, and no option to appeal. I read a suggestion to sign up for the paid Meta support, I opened a case, but it's just been sitting there for days without any response. I hate to just let my Facebook vanish. I've had it for 17 years! When my account was down during that few days I created a second account, and even now that says it's permanently disabled. What the heck is going on? I've done nothing to violate any policies, and I cannot get any help 😞 :(.

Hi @srose722 ,
I'm so sorry to hear you're going through this—it sounds incredibly frustrating and unfair, especially given how long you've had your Facebook account and the effort you've made to resolve these issues. Meta's system can be really difficult to navigate when it comes to resolving account problems, and it’s disheartening to see cases like yours where no clear solution is provided.
Since you’ve already tried paid Meta support without luck, it might help to escalate your case by reaching out via their Business Help Center or through their verified social media accounts. Sometimes, tagging them in posts with a concise explanation of your issue can get attention.
If you haven’t already, documenting all interactions with Meta and keeping screenshots of messages, prompts, and appeals might help if you need to escalate further. I hope you're able to recover your account soon—it’s so hard to lose access to years of memories and connections. Stay persistent, and I hope Meta resolves this quickly for you!

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your detailed reply. I would very much like your tips on how to get support from the business support team. I can't login at all, so I cannot appeal, or do any sort of business interaction that I can tell.

Thank you, I do not have a business account, and do not know anyone who could take that route for me 😞
Still no response from enhanced Meta paid support, and my case was opened on Dec 29.
