Hi I am having trouble with purchasing a game for my son. He has $100 credit on his account so I know the money isn't an issue. He requested access to the app, which I allowed, then the Meta app tells me to go to the store to purchase it, I do on his account (since he has $100) and it tells me I need to have parent approval (which I have allowed for the app, it shows as approved in the App Supervision).
I'm I doing something wrong here?

Thank you for letting us know, @Urbanrules86.
Store credits are non-transferable; however, you can contact your previous support agent so they can look into that further.
We do agree that Choleni is probably correct, as parent-managed accounts cannot purchase apps themselves. If you would like us to verify to make sure, you can send us a direct message from our Profile Page. We can also help with contacting support if needed. Just let us know!

Hi @Urbanrules86 🙂
is your son on chid account(10-12)?
If so, this might be the issue.
I'm not familar with chid accounts, but to my understanding parents (your account) have to buy games/apps for their children and allow them to download the game/app.
This article say ......make purchases for your child
Why you need to have the right Meta account for your age to use Meta Quest
If your son is on a 13+ account and you still have problems to buy with this account, talk to support.
You can send a PM @MetaQuestSupport
click on the name to visit their profile page, then click the "send a message" button.

Hey @Urbanrules86, thanks for reaching out!
We're definitely able to help you get that game purchased for your son.
@Choleni provided a great response to your post, as if your son has a parent-managed account, he will need your help to buy a game.
He will have to send a download request from his account, and you will need to allow the request from your guardian account.
You can find steps on how to do this here.
If this does not solve your issue, please feel free to send us a PM!
We'd be glad to help you further.

Hi!
He sent the request and I've approved it. Every time I go into the store to purchase it on his account it give me a popup saying "You can't use this app right now. If you'd like to use this app, send your parent or guardian a request for access." when I attempt purchase it on his account. Do I have to purchase it on my account so he'll have access or am I able to purchase it on his account using his credit on his account?

Hi @MetaQuestSupport !
Still having the issue, I think @Choleni is correct in saying I can't purchase the game from my sons store and that I have to gift it to him from my store since he's a child account 10-12. Which comes up with the issue that I need to have his credit on his account moved to mine since he was gifted the credit from Meta Support in regards to an issue with his former account having to be deleted and having to make a new account. An issue that went on for over 4 months. Should I contact meta support for help with that?

Thank you for the reply. I will contact support about the credit as they couldn't help me previously with my sons account and had to provide a credit to make a new account (by the way they didn't inform me I would have an issue buying games or apps) but this helps with knowledge to never buy your companies crappy products ever again. I have a quest 1 and my son a 2 apparently we won't be buy any new products from the company until they fix their issues. It seems like the whole company has gone down hill since the Zuck took it over and made it just a part of Facebook.
