Trying to get the audio mirroring to work, but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. The app says the audio mirroring goes to the default windows device, but I've set that to the Rift audio device as otherwise I'd get no sound in the rift headset. What do I do? All games run through the SteamVR work fine, both with headset and mirroring.
This happens with my setup also.. audio is fine in headset - I can mirror my computer audio in the headset ... but when I select "mirror Oculus Audio in default device" - I just get nothing on any device.
found a fix for you, I was puzzled about this too but all you have to do is disable the other devices in the sound properties and when the only option left is the one you want to output to then it suddenly works.
You just set the one you want to output to do default in sound settings in windows and the rest you disable.
I have to do this each time I want to use audio mirroring.
