Screen shows the rotating infinity symbol and doesn't go further. Tried soft reset. Got file loading screen. When file was "loaded" it went back to the rotating symbol. This is used by my grandson for the past year and am very careful about what i let him download. Only recent activity was downloading VRChat but then uninstalling it within a few minutes. Tried help center and the chat bot was not helpful. Wanted me to get live tech help for $1 but when I went to that site they wanted $50 ....bait and switch.
Press and hold the power button volume down button at the same time.
Use the volume keys to navigate to factory reset and tap the power button to continue.
This will delete any non cloud saved data such as recordings and screen shots. Games and cloud save data will come back after logging back in with the original account.
