As of the recent firmware update which was pushed through to me just today, I no longer have audio through Steam Link on the Quest Pro. It appears others are experiencing this issue as well. Quest 2 seems to be unaffected by it, I'm not sure about Quest 3.

I am hoping there will be a new update to resolve this issue soon? I'm not sure how to fix this.

Same issue here with quest pro in my case quest firmware was updated and no issues at all until yesterday night when steam was updated.
Using Quest Airlink as a temporary solution although I don't like it cause it lacks foveated rendering and it's capped at 75fps.

Thank you all for providing more detail in y'alls situation. I will pass this along to the team to hopefully help get to the bottom of this quicker! I greatly appreciate everyone's patience during this time!

I have no clue how he thought that it was resolved from that statement that you posted. A lot of people are having audio issues across multiple apps with the new 65 update. I can't hear sound in multiple apps. It's a shame. It's a lot of people, but not everyone on the pro. I'm talking at the moment. I know you're talking to PCvr. Haven't had any issues with PCvr yet

Absolutely correct response. These things should be tested before forcing a launch.

This is not just a steam link issue. A bunch of apps and features are not working with the recent update and it kills our ability to hear anything in certain apps or programs.

Correct Same with some standalone games people can hear me, but I can't hear them or any of the game sounds

I can confirm that, same problem, there is even no sound effect of launching the app at all in Quest Pro itself.

Is there an ETA for this update, as it is a MAJOR issue for a good chunk of users (myself included). As there is a distinct error between v64/v65 I feel as though there could be a "v65.1" to revert the update temporarily. and this issue has been persisting for at least 2 weeks with no open communication other than sending feedback and working on it.

Weirdly enough the solution that has worked for me is to unplug the speakers I was using from the 3.5mm jack then my Quest Pro will produce sound in steam link and games. If I plug the speakers back in when everything in steam link is working then the sound disappears even if I unplug them again, at that point I have to power down/restart the headset. I did have a few times where the audio got horribly distorted but after a few minutes it resolved on it's own.

You would think we would have more clarity on this considering they definitely know about The no sound issue for the past week. This is far from a fix and I want to be very clear that they should definitely still be prioritizing us in someway, but if you do a factory reset which is not a solution, but it will return your sound, but the second you reset your headset in anyway or turn it off and turn it back on your sound will go away again. I factory reset my headset and only loaded a few apps just in case if I have to reset again, I've been keeping my headset in sleep mode. If you're doing mainly PCVR all your sav s are on your PC anyway I'm not having any issues with PCvr though
