As of the recent firmware update which was pushed through to me just today, I no longer have audio through Steam Link on the Quest Pro. It appears others are experiencing this issue as well. Quest 2 seems to be unaffected by it, I'm not sure about Quest 3.

I am hoping there will be a new update to resolve this issue soon? I'm not sure how to fix this.

ah ok @tonypeckham understood.
I didn't know there was this issue, I haven't used Steam Link for anything other than test the untethered performance. @TheLegend27 has merged your thread with one that was already here on this subject so hopefully someone can be more help than me!

I'm hopeful that this will be fixed soon. Don't be too discouraged. It sucks that yours is new. Trust me when I say that I have a quest three and a pro and the pro is still my favorite despite these recent issues I have discovered some fixes, but I have heard that they don't work for steam link and the oculus earbuds sadly 66 will not help you at this point. I'm on the public test channel version.

I got my new Meta Quest 3, tried the Steam link with wifi, I can't have sound throught it, found some old solution which was about dowloading some drivers "steam streaming speakers" but I can't install those. Tried to use the cable I bought and after awhile I get disconnected from the pc, i remove the cable and put it back and few seconds again disconnected 😞

Hey everyone! I haven't gotten confirmation of when the fix will be rolling out, but I do that our audio team is still working on getting the update finalized. Once I receive word of an estimated timeframe for the update to be released, I will let everyone know!

I'm not sure what has changed but I've been able to use my Quest Pro again without having to do any extra steps for the past 3 days. I just launch everything up with my speakers plugged in and it has all been working.

You're not on the SteamVR Beta by any chance are you? That had an update 3 days ago.
