Steam Link VR not fully connecting via Quest 2

To preface, I posted this same inquiry over on the SteamVR forums:

Just played some SkyrimVR less than 2 hours ago, and now when I launch Steam Link from my Quest 2, it sees my PC, allows me to connect, but then upon "finalizing" the connection, it just spits me back out to the Quest Dome. I've tried restarting the Quest 2, restarting my PC, flipping over to the beta for both the Q2 and Steam Link, reinstalling Steam Link on the Q2, and nothing seems to work. Not really sure what changed since, although I did notice the Oculus PC app must've updated, as now it's not the old Oculus logo, but the new Meta logo (still don't like it). Since I'm using purely SteamVR, I'm not sure that even matters. Not sure if this is more an Oculus or Valve issue. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Just did a little more testing, and when trying to connect, SteamVR does launch on my PC, so it's being seen. When I re-paired Steam Link with my PC after the reinstall, I continued to have the issue. Also just tested Oculus Link, and that works fine (ish. I thought OpenComposite was a winner until Steam Link came out, way better).

Specs are
Ryzen 7 3700X
ASRock B550M Steel Legend mATX mobo
32GB DDR4
Radeon RX 7800XT (part of a new build)
Plenty of m.2 storage (~2.5TB across two drives) and a mix of regular HDD and SSD drives (another 6TB total)
750W Seasonic PSU
Quest 2 with latest beta (worked prior to ~730pm EST without issue)

I've posted this over on Reddit as well, and I'm about to ask around on Lemmy too, just in case. At least I know I'm not the only person dealing with this.

I just recently got an update from Steam support that there's an issue with v62 PTC and Steam Link VR. They recommended downgrading to stable for now.

I don't think I realized I was enrolled in PTC. I'll give that a look later today.

I am also having trouble with my quest 2 and steam vr as it wont connect via wireless. Ive tried restarting bother apps on PC and quest, restarting both systems, disconnecting and reconnecting to the same wi fi for both and it wont seem to connect.

Hey @Destric1911! With Steam VR being a third-party platform, we may not have the resources necessary to help out with troubleshooting it. if you're using Steam Link, their page has a plethora of troubleshooting options you could try if nothing seems to be working. You can find the link for that in Meta Quest Support's previous reply.

On top of that, you might find that someone else has solved the same exact issue, if you look through the Steam Link Discussions board on the Steam Community. Ultimately, your best option might be to contact Steam Support (found at the bottom of the page under the Troubleshooting dropdown) directly.

Hope this helps!
