Hi, I got my quest 3, 3 days ago & excited and eager to play, I bought a few games, and then today I couldn’t open any games and found my storage was full and had to delete some apps and games and restart my headset Is this usual? Also the view is a little grainy.

Thank you for giving us that information about the charger. Typically, when playing games and having other apps going, the headset will drain a little faster than normal, but battery life should last around 2 hours. Again, the best practices for battery usage are what we mentioned above. Leaving the headset plugged in for days or weeks at a time can damage the battery over time, especially if the headset is on or asleep rather than turned off.
So we recommend, once it hits 100%, taking it off the charger.
If your headset is still not lasting more than 1 hour even after using the proper charging methods, then please reach out to us again.
As for the grainy display, is this when you are playing games or when you are using passthrough?
Typically, to get a better display, using passthrough requires more lighting, as this will help the cameras on the front of the headset.

Hello there, @GrannyDebs! We would love to help you with your device's storage and the issue you are having with your battery dying after only an hour. We understand that this is not ideal. We want to first provide some information about device storage. The Quest 3 comes in either 128 GB or 512 GB. You can find out how much storage your device has by using the steps below or the link here.
To check how much space is left on your Meta Quest headset:
From here, you can see your headset's storage space, including a breakdown of what sources are taking up space. You can also delete apps and other files to free up space by selecting next to the item you want to delete.
Battery life will vary depending on use. Some features, such as increasing the refresh rate, may consume more power, depleting the battery faster. If you have made any changes that alter the headset's performance, either through the Experimental Features or through a third-party app, please turn off the features or revert the changes and test the headset performance without these features/settings changes.
If you are charging your device correctly, please use this link so we can get some more information about your device so we can take a deeper dive into this for you. Please click here Next, click "Send a Message" to privately message us! Please remember, you must be signed into the community first to send us a private message.
Please reach out if you have any more question or need any more assistance. We hope to hear from you soon!

Yes, I am only using your charger and I’m leaving it on charge for long periods of time. Unfortunately I only have the 128gb headset. The display is also grainy and I wondered if that was normal.?

I’m also not using any third party apps.

Hi, the battery is drawing within 2 hours and takes forever to recharge, more than you recommended 2 hours. The grainy picture seems to be on all apps.
