In Walkabout Mini Golf, is there some way to remove all the strangers that have shown up in the list of players to invite to a game? There are many, no idea how they got into my players list, and today the same person entered, and I booted, our game twelve times in a row! I want to remove these people on my list when I hit multiplayer/private room. And, do we need to make harder room names so no one would type in that word to enter our room?
Hi Libby, I emailed MightyCoconut about a similar issue yesterday, (when a friend was thrown out of a room he'd thought he'd reserved for his exclusive use to play private games in with friends like me) & this is the reply I received:
"Hi, think of the room name like a password and username combined. If you want something more secure consider using two words or numbers at the end of it, like PANDORASULLY or PANDORA99868. We don't have so many players that it's a common issue, but does happen occasionally when people use single words. And if someone does join your private game, it pops up a message and allows you can boot them. That's what happened to your friend. There were already other people in the room PANDORA when he tried to join it. We of course would have preferred if they had been nicer about it, but that's actually things working as intended."
The only logical fix to the problem would be to have a password associated with the room you wish to have your private game in, but it would seem MightyCoconut have no intention of adding this feature anytime soon sadly.
