Stuck in account loop

On the quest it says "Lets setup your Horizon and Meta account. You'll need to set these up to continue using VR". Then it says "On this headset: @WildWestPimpStyle. Take off headset, go to www.meta.com/setup and log into Facebook with c********e@gmail.com. Setup profiles then enter this code."

When I do that, the meta site says "You tried to connect this headset with c********e@gmail.com, which isn't associated with your original account and purchases. To continue with your apps and purchases, log out of this account and continue with facebook and log in with v***********e@gmail.com, the Facebook account you used to set up your headset, then try again." 

When I do THAT, it gives me the same response, again telling me to log out and log in with the v*****e@gmail.com email. All I want to do is play a game but I am stuck in an inescapable account loop. It doesn't seem worth the hassle to keep my purchases anymore, I would be happy just to be able to start a fresh meta account and rebuy all my games, but I can't even seem to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
