Stuck on update

I just got my meta quest 3 and I pressed the wrong Wi-Fi and had to sign in , now I'm stuck in the first update,and I don't know how to fix it.

Hi there, @hellokittylover666666666! We're excited to welcome you to the wonderful world of VR with your new Meta Quest 3, so we'd love to help out with that setup! If your headset is stuck on the update screen and you're unable to click the proper Wi-Fi network, we'd like you to try a factory reset. Please make sure the device is fully charged before proceeding with the following steps:

 

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Firmly hold the power and volume down (-) buttons on your headset simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
  5. You should be taken back to the page to start the setup process over again!

 

If you're having any issues completing that, let us know if the headset shows as paired at all to the Meta Horizon mobile. We look forward to hearing from you, so get back to us when you can!
