Supervised Account and Primary Account?

MalicousFoil
Protege

I recently created a user account of my own so that I could create the “supervised” account for my kid.
When the headset is turned on it defaults to my account profile so he uses that and can totally bypass any supervised setting/limits.
Can I either set some sort of PIN on my profile to prevent usage and force him to utilize his supervised account?
Any other way for this to be accomplished?

Hi @MalicousFoil 🙂

Several parents wish to have the option to lock the admin account. I totally understand that.

Unfortunately, currently the only option is to lock the entire device.

HERE   can you find how this works.

Does the device need to have the parent account (admin) loaded on it?

Can I just factory reset and only login with his info?

If you factory reset the Quest and then set it up only with his account, he will be the admin.

Can you give an ETA on when this bug will be fixed?

Also the issue with not allowing both parents to supervise without poor husband having to stayed logged in as a woman and vice versa.

these are basic Windows 95 era functions. You can create such a sophistication piece of equipment but cant add 16 bit level features that everyone is repeatedly asking for.
