my brother recently gave me his meta quest 2 and he told me that he broke the charger with the wire and the strap broke while tightening According to him and i asked support if could get it replaced for free and i only got one reply so far and that's it and im getting a little worried because the warenty expires in March 16 2024 (3 Days left) and i don't know if i should request a replacement or not

I don't know, what support said to you.
But typically, if things are damaged by yourself/your brother is this not covered by warranty.

That doesn't mean they might give you a replacement as a gesture of goodwill...maybe you are lucky.😁
I just want to say... in this case it probably doesn't matter if the warranty period expires.
