I cant view synced videos on the oculus app, i synced them to my phone and they show there but i cant actually watch them theres just this wifi symbol with a “!” I have a stable internet connection so i dont know why i cant watch them

If I enable Cloud Backup and factory reset my headset will it still keep all my friends and game data?

So your game data will be backed up to the cloud, and your friends are attached to your account, not the headset.

OK um the truth is I am really nervous to factory reset my headset. Someone commented on a video that it got stuck on the part where you have to enter the 5-diget code. So I'm just really nervous

No worries, since that would mean we have exhausted all of our troubleshooting options for you, we highly recommend for you to submit this issue as a bug.

So, I’ve stated in a previous post that videos over 5 minutes are unable to sync to the app due to, I don’t even know why.
I HAVE ENOUGH STORAGE on both my oculus (100+ GB) and my phone (100+ GB), so that is not the issue. I should be able to sync any video under a GB, which if it can’t, Meta tells me.
Now, i can’t sync videos that are FOUR minutes or more, and I do not know why.

Most videos of this length sync in 3 minutes. This screenshot was taken an hour later. Meta, could you do anything useful this time?
To answer, no, I can’t connect a cord from my oculus to my phone. No such cords exist. Yes, I can use Google Drive, except it’s a tedious process and I should not have to do that every time.

We understand that having any sort of issues with syncing our videos is never fun, so we would love to get this fixed up for you as soon as possible. For us to have a better understanding of what may be happening, have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app? Additionally, have you attempted to fully reset your Wi-Fi router?
