The Climb - Poor Performance with 1080ti

Hello,

I recently purchased The Climb and am having performance issues with the game. I can't get above 20-30fps but mainly hovers around 22.5.

I have a threadripper 1950x, a 1080ti and 64gb of RAM. I would expect that the game would have no problems with the setup so either I'm doing something wrong or there is a bug.

I've tried the Oculus Debug tool and turned off ASW but it didn't help. Once the game launches the performance overhead graph shows my performance overhead going from roughly 80% in the rift lobby to -500% in the game.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Any ideas from anyone?

I figured it out from another forum post somewhere. It had something to do with an overclock error something. This fixed it:

" Turned out to be High Precision Event Timer tweak I had done.

Try checking to see if its been disabled on your setup just for the hell of it.

CMD prompt as admin. bcdedit /set useplatformclock no "
