just as the title says. I run The Climb and I get the message that it is not connecting to network and wont save my global scores. anyone else having this issue and if so any ideas on a fix. Thanks
@SKDestro I sent the devs a msg. Through Facebook messenger from thier webpage theclimbgame.com, hopefully if other people do this as well it may help motivate them to fix the issue a bit quicker.
Still having the problem a week later(!), so I've tweeted them @theclimbgame to ask that they take a look.
The support page gives IP addresses to ping (no response) and traceroute (dies way out at their end), so it definitely seems like a severe server problem.
I hate to say this as much as I love the game and want them to release more content (for AGES now) but I think Crytek doesn't care about this game anymore (or Robinson: The Journey for that matter) because I'm willing to bet it closed the studios that developed those games.... While this (and related posts) are not specific to which games were developed in which studios... I wouldn't be surprised...... It makes me sad though that there has been no interesting communication from Crytek on The Climb Facebook or Twitter pages... I think its one of the best and could easily continue development. I'd even pay for DLC if they made a worthwhile addon....
This doesn't excuse the fact that the games online services have been down for like 2 weeks now and not a single word from Crytek. I'm gonna try to contact some game news outlet hoping this spreads. This isn't right.
If they meant to do this they should communicate with us that they wanted to shut down the servers. I was pretty close to buying The Hunt: Showdown because it looked pretty fun but after this? I'll pass...
