So every time i launch "The climb" I get the error " the climb is taking a while to load. If this issue persist please take off headset and check this app on your computer". Check what exactly? This is normally the point where i am prompted to set promissions for the app... which i have set to allowed. As well as everything that has anything to do with the oculus. I have tried disabling Kaspersky as well as win defender, reboot, and still get the same error. I have never had any issue with any other game. Though no other game that i have runs on CRYTEK. I know crytek historically is a pretty beefy engine. But i'm running it on intel 7700k, watercooled 1080TI, 32gb ddr4 3200, and installed on a 1TB solid state drive. All drivers are up to date oculus, windows, nvidia". So i thought maybe it just takes a while to load. Put on the headset and set a timer on my phone then stared at the error screen for 10 minutes. I know the game is working i can hear the audio of the climbing tutorial. So why won't the headset display??? O and yes my oculus is plugged into the hdmi port on my 1080TI and a usb3.0 port. I know it has to be something simple but for the love of God i can't find it. So any HELP would be much appreciated!!!!
I have uninstalled Kapersky nor do i have afterburner. I'm afraid that did not work either. The game is playing. I can see it playing on my monitor though NOT my headset. Its the pick the skin color of your hands screen. So i know it is not loading. The headset seemingly simply will not display 😞 . The headset just shows the (if this issue persist please take off headset and check this app on your computer). Seems to sit on that screen infinity. Any more thoughts on this gentlemen? Because i am stumped. Thanks again for the help
