The Rift-included xbox wireless controller works 100% everywhere except in The Climb. The game starts and goes through the loading screens and then asks to select a skin-tone. I can look around but none of the xbox buttons nor the oculus remote work to make any changes or selections. Only the controller's Home button works to preempt the game and return to Oculus Activity screen. Xbox buttons work fine there. The game also knows when there's no controller at all and complains.
Having a very similar problem here. Starting tonight, when I start The Climb the buttons do not work. As above, I can look around and so forth, but cannot start a game. Once out of The Climb, everything works as expected. The biggest difference between me and the OP is that I have played the game a bit prior to tonight.
A restart of the PC will allow for things to work temporarily, but would love to find a fix for this.
Thanks for the help ccgr. I restarted my PC today and now buttons seem to work. I hope it will still work next time.
