The New Oculus Main Menu - total disaster

buscape

Hello,
I've just found that I have a new main menu in Oculus and it's so buggy that I can't use Oculus anymore.
In the previous version switching between my library and the store was a matter of milliseconds. Now a  new room is opening and then the Store begins loading and it never loads. I mean NEVER!  And my fingers have darker twins - I curl my fingers, but a darker twin remains in the previous position. I want to revert to the old version!

I've tried in this video to show neverending loading of the Store and the strange fingers ghosts.

And this is just small part of all bugs. I can't load details for any App. I can't load certain games... etc.

And this "The video is utilizing Dash, which does not support multiple graphics
adapters. and might mean that your display is running on a different
graphics card." Which I'm not sure I can understand.

That means you have something connected to a secondary video card, such as the lower card in an SLI system, or the motherboard integrated video port. You must have Rift and all monitors connected to the primary dedicated graphics card. If you're on a laptop, this can prove problematic as the ports can be hardwired in ways you don't have control over.

Sure, that's why when I use my facebook account I can load the store. Maybe my graphic cards love facebook.

Why I have to find before the Oculus support that the problem is in my
account, not in my VPN, Graphic cards, country location and so on???

I got even such explanation:
"Oculus does not support Bulgaria, and it may be a country-based block that is causing parts of this. "
I use PureVPN but they said:
"We do not support VPNs for the Oculus software either, and cannot
guarantee functionality for areas outside of our shipping area."

OCULUS SUPPORT, ARE YOU SERIOUS?????

They even didn't read that I can load the store with my facebook account.

THIS IS NOT A SUPPORT!!!!

"Returning back to a message that I had mentioned before, where it did
not support what it is trying to display. This is completely about the
Rift not being able to render windows from a display that is not
supported, in this case anything running on the Intel HD 630 graphics
card. With the configuration I am seeing on your computer, this means
that the Intel graphics card is running the display on your laptop,
which means that anything that shows up on your desktop cannot be pulled
into the Rift."

But I can load the Virtual Desktop which also shows my Desktop....

I think it's about time to give this a rest mate.  Ongoing rants like this won't help your cause and they just annoy everyone else imho.  Thanks and Peace.

Try killing "Steam Client Bootstrapper" process if running, that makes all running steam processes disappear, and for me it makes the Busy-circle-icon ("Now playing") go away so you can start games.

Finally:
"Thank you for the updated information.

There is an issue going on with the store right now. We are aware of it and working on a solution.

I will track this and update you when our engineering teams have a resolve."

After the last update the problem with the store is gone. It took two weeks for the Oculus support to find out that the problem is not in my laptop, IP address, country location etc., but in their software.
Now it's time to resolve the Oculus Desktop issue. Is there anybody with Alienware that can open Oculus Dekstop?
They again claim that the problem is in my system. I can open Virtual Desktop, but I can't Oculus Desktop. Isn't it strange?
