Hello, I've just found that I have a new main menu in Oculus and it's so buggy that I can't use Oculus anymore. In the previous version switching between my library and the store was a matter of milliseconds. Now a new room is opening and then the Store begins loading and it never loads. I mean NEVER! And my fingers have darker twins - I curl my fingers, but a darker twin remains in the previous position. I want to revert to the old version!
Ya, I have an AW 17r4 and I can use both desktops ok. However, I am not currently using my laptop's screen or integrated intel gpu.
I use an external monitor connected to my DisplayPort (which is basically connected to the nvidia gpu) and using the win10 display setting I only project to it. This way I bypass my integrated intel gpu. Since I have done this I have not seen the need to use the Virtual Desktop app because I find the core 2.0 home Oculus Desktop so much easier/better to use. So, unless you want to do what I did you may need to just keep using the Virtual Desktop app imho.
Aside; when I was using Windows Mixed Reality I found out that if I wanted to use the WMR desktop within the Cliff House I needed to go into the nvidia 3d program settings and add the program windows/system32/runtimebroker and direct this to my integrated gpu (top option). Not sure if this will work with Oculus though?
