So, this is a long rant, because the support is just useless.
I changed my email address about 7 months ago and have tried and tried to get Meta to recognize it.
Now, I did change it for logging in. The preferred email I use to log in, but Meta will not unlink my old email.
The email they show after I login is a closed email account.
Now here is where it gets crazy with the support.
Support 1 asks the questions after a week via email.
I reply.
Support replies back with a new agent a week later asking the SAME questions.
I reply again.
Support replies back a week later with the SAME questions.(Yes this went on for over 3 months!!!!!)
I finally lost my cool and asked if they were AI or just stupid or just messing with me. After 5 month an alleged manager gave me a $5 giftcard, apologized for the issues, and then closed my ticket.
They never fixed my account. So I have an email that is tied to my Quest 3 that I dont use and cant get any help from meta to secure my account.
Seriously, meta needs to offer better help. Having to struggle for 6 month to get help is a nightmare.
