I connect the cable to my computer and oculus quest 3, and the meta quest program does not see it.
Please help me solve this problem.

I meant Gbs not Mbs. Sorry. Also I only have USB 3.1. The Meta Quest link cable got me the same speeds but it is also capable of charging while using the link function. My pc does not support this feature so spending 80USD for features I can't use would have been wasteful. Some things you can try are going to Device manager and making sure your USB ports are on the latest drivers. Also go to power managment and make sure your USB ports are not set to power saving settings. Hope that helps.

Hi there, would you be able to confirm for us whether or not you are using an official Meta Link Cable or a third party cable to connect your headset to your PC?

I use a cable to connect the kiwi design glasses

We are afraid that we can not guarantee any cable but the official Meta Link Cable working, for more information on the Meta Link Cable, please click here.

I have used Kiwi Designs link cables since the Quest 2 and they get about 2.2 to 2.6 Mbs. Which is fast enough to run the best of PCVR games.

Hi again, thank you for your response. When it comes to Third-Party cables we are not able to provide troubleshooting or any support due to them not being our products, if the issue seems to lie within the headset itself, we would be able to provide support.

why would you say there is a problem with the quest itself using third party when there is no problem. Just tell the truth that some cables if rated as high as Meta's will work fine. If they are having issues there are some things they can check even if using Meta link cable to insure that their connection is good. Make sure the drivers are updated. Make sure sleep mode for USB is turned off. This can all be found under Device manager. You probably know more trouble shooting tips that I could use but you all just say buy the Meta link cable. I did for the Q2 and it got 2.4 speed rating and now the usb connection is worn out. So I had to buy a cheaper one or have none. The specs seemed good and it works great.

Hey @ssasha01 , as well as trying some of @DarrenJames00 's great troubleshooting advice could you also ensure that your computer meets the minimum specs required for this feature.
Also, are you getting any messages displayed when you plug the headset in, or is nothing coming up at all?

Thanks for the advice, but the problem was solved on its own
