I feel bad for the OP in this subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/1bcfpzi/meta_account_suspended_child_used_account_support/ Hope I'm allowed to post. This irritates me and angers me as well. Reason I avoid Horizon Worlds. Even if I got the Quest 3. I'm gonna uninstall the app imminently. And Recroom as well. To avoid dealing with kids. Hopefully someone from Meta can help this guy out. Dude is also a game developer. Wanting to make a game for Meta. Who knew one measly ban because his daughter wanted to check out Horizon Worlds and chatted with other kids is messed up. 😕 Why cant Meta ban other accounts that has kids on them? I see kids on VR Chat all the dang time. Using Meta headsets and are really toxic too. I don't have any kids of my own. Im afraid to use Horizon Worlds now though to explore, etc and afraid of getting banned for no reason, etc. Can someone kindly give me some advice on how to avoid stuff with like this? I'm literally scared of going on Muiltiplayer games now. Can you remove Horizon Worlds from the Quest its self? Or is it permanently stuck on there? What games do y'all recommend me getting? I don't want to end up like this guy he lost his business pages on FB which sucks. So I'm getting mixed feelings about all this. Sorry. 😞 I eventually wanted to make a game of my own as well. But worried about a family member "Like my mom" using my quest" and getting on Horizon Worlds, etc. And getting my headset banned. Even though we got shared profiles now. It's a scary thing to think about. Sorry guys. Can someone help me here? Sorry if I'm overthinking this stuff. Stuff like this is making me rethink of getting the unit. 😞

It's understandable that you feel concerned and frustrated after reading about someone's negative experience with Horizon Worlds and dealing with child-related issues on VR platforms. Many VR platforms have age restrictions in place to prevent children from accessing certain features or content. Before using a platform like Horizon Worlds, VR Chat, or Rec Room, check their terms of service and community guidelines to understand their policies regarding underage users. If you're worried about unauthorized access to your VR headset by family members or children, consider enabling parental controls or creating separate user profiles with restricted access. This can help prevent accidental bans or unwanted interactions.
