Hello, excuse-me. This is my first time posting here. (I can't find the old Facebook Help Forum and only found this forum... so please excuse-me if this is not the suitable place to ask this... 😥)
I created a Threads account in January 26th 2025 with a new Instagram account created only for this purpose. I opened my Instagram account with a existing Facebook account so these 3 are linked together.
Last night (February 5th) around 11pm in France, I got an email from Instagram saying that my account has been suspended because of violating community standards/guidelines... I followed the link provided in the email and successfully recovered my Instagram account.
However, when I tried to log onto Threads, it doesn't work. I tried the web browser version but it just tells me that my page has been removed. I used the app and the "your account has been suspended" keep popping up. When I tried to click onto the "appeal" button, it doesn't work.
I've tried the "report a problem" form on Threads but I don't think it'd work out.
I tried the "Access and download your information form" and seemed to have reached a real person, but they replied by telling me that they can't do anything about my situation because it's not the responsibility of their section.
I searched online and found my last hope - I used the "Copyright Appeal Contact Form" (which some shared that they've managed to recover their accounts with), but for now I haven't gotten any reply yet...
I've searched through Reddit, YouTube and other forums in English, French and Chinese but haven't found other helpful solution...
Has anyone ever encountered the same problem (recovered Instagram but not Threads, and the "appeal" button in the app not working)?
I saw somewhere on Threads that I should try using browser on my phone to open Threads, and the appeal message should pop up and lead me to a form specialised for suspended Threads... but it didn't work for me either.
It's a small account with 400 followers, I haven't posted anything political nor did I buy fans or did anything suspicious, didn't post any hateful contents... I've met kind people and want to continue interacting with them... 😥
If you have any advice or possible ways to recover the account, please help me 😖🙏
Did you try to login on your account using desktop or try to make the appeal also for getting more help you should try to contact with meta support team because it's a community forum for meta quest and from here maybe you will get help about meta quest...
By Meta Support Team do you mean from the Business Support Home?
I'm trying to do it now...
I did try to use the desktop version (browser) but it just doesn't work. Also I cannot appeal since the appeal button doesn't work on my Threads app and with my browsers (both cellphone and desktop) there isn't any appeal option/button...
