I had to change the batteries in both controllers last night., My left controller has stopped showing up in the games or on the home screen. Is is showing it as connected in the settings and on. I need to remove the battery and put it back in to get it to show up, but after 2 or 3 seconds it starts to jitter and freezes. I have changed the battery three times ran the set up and none of it has worked. About the same time it started my height in the rift doubled. I have it set to 5'6" and looked like i was at 10'. I don't know if they have anything to do with each other or not. both sensors seem to be fine.
Did some more playing around with it. If I let the controllers sit for a few minutes and look in the settings under devices the Left Touch will show ON and the Right Touch is in Standby.
Hi, I have the same issue. did you find a way to fix it?
Use your smart phone front camera (the one facing you when you look at the phone screen) then put your controller so that the front camera sees it. You will see if the Infrared led lights are working or not. They might not work like mine. I hope they will send me another controller soon.
