Touch pro controllers overheating after 15' since V65 update

Hello,

We are running a Virtual reality center in Sion Switzerland since February. We use to run up to 8 quest pro's with PCVR simultaneously and in collocation without any problem for around 50' of gameplay.

Last Thursday that we updated to V65 and after 15' of gameplay almost all players lose controller tracking due to overheating (which is bunkers). Our experience is totally ruined and now we are rapidly losing money and most importantly our reputation.

We had exactly the same issue During the development and Beta phase of the game all the way through V53 to V62. Suddenly 3 month of pure Bliss with V62, V63 and V64. But as we all know Meta obligates us to update...

What i don't understand:

1) Why are you breaking something that you have fixed in the past?

2) Why you won't let us keep a version that is working for us more than 1 month (or being able to roll back)?

3)Why you don't have Business support for people like us that don't develop games to sell in your platform or any other platform (but develop for colocation Arenas)?

P.S.

Please don't tell me to contact support i have been down this road many times and i can promise you that it does not lead anywhere, we/you are losing our/your time.

With Love,

Nikolaos T. Spanos

hi @Nikolaos.T.Spanos

Sorry to hear this it must be incredibly frustrating for you.

I'm sure you have but I would isolate one headset and try resetting the controllers by Pressing and holding the menu button and Y/b (depending on the controller). It can take some time but it will vibrate when it resets. I would try this a few times as sometimes it doesn't fix after 1 attempt.

2) remove and unpair controllers and re pair

3) factory reset and try again

4) factory reset and join PTC and try again (PTC also has some issues with the pro controllers with the Quest 3 but you can always roll that back by disabling the PTC again in your app.

Hope this helps

Jonny
