Tracking camera drops out and does not return if Oculus Home is closed. Restart is required

Hey all, I seem to have a unique issue.

Let's say I boot up my computer. Sometimes Oculus Home will start with Windows, and other times it does not. If Oculus Home does not start up automatically, I have to launch it very soon after or the tracking camera will not work. It seems like the light will not come on if Oculus Home does not open within a certain amount of time. Maybe I'm crazy in that regard, but anyway..

I pay attention to the white LED on the top of the tracking camera. If it is on, everything works as it should. I have no other issues.

Once everything is running, if I close the Oculus Home window (just clicking the X), the white LED on the tracking camera goes off. If I reopen Oculus Home, the LED does not come back on and tracking will not work.

Even though the light is off, Oculus Home still sees the tracker as connected (it has a Green dot). The only way it seems to resume proper operation is to restart the computer. It seems about 80% of the time I can get it to start up, I just have to leave Oculus Home open or it stops working until I restart.

I thought it could be a hardware conflict, but I isolated my USB devices to just Mouse/Keyboard and Rift and still experienced the issue.

There was a period of time I was unable to get the light to come on at all; the only way I fixed that was to reinstall the software - which is a pain because the installer has to download the whole 900mb package every time.

Thanks in advance for help.

The only way to solve things if you have an issue is to reinstall the Oculus drivers and software. I'd also make sure to unplug the Rift after I have uninstalled and then shutdown my computer. I then reboot without the Rift plugged in and follow the Oculus install guide. Did you update to Windows 10 from Windows 7 by any chance? Or was it a clean install of Windows 10? I always recommend doing a clean install of Windows 10, because I've always had problems when update it from Windows 7. I do know that windows 10 has a problem with some devices because it switches usb's off it thinks aren't been used, but I don't think this is the case.

I have repaired/reinstalled twice. I will try uninstalling with CCleaner and then get a fresh copy of the Oculus software. The OS was a clean install.

You may possibly be onto something with the USB power saving, I would like to make sure that's off anyway. I will see if I can find an option for that somewhere.

edit: I have it off. It is under Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > USB Settings > USB selective suspend setting: Disable. I will see
