I am a step father and need to transfer the parental supervision controls to my step son's father. I have googled this for weeks looking for any advice or answers on how to accomplish this. it seems that it simply isn't coded in to the quest parental supervision settings. This shouldn't be this difficult. Both parents use Meta and the only has one account, which was created for the sole purpose of using the Oculus that he got last Christmas.
My suggestion to the engineers is:
I have a working knowledge of software engineering and it seems simple enough for something like this to be accomplished. Moreover, if it is done correctly this could probably be coded so that two parents could supervise one or more children so that in the even that one parent is unavailable the other parent could approve or deny any request that a child has.
To all parents that are in a similar situation PLEASE interact with this post by leaving comments and concerns so that the popularity of this post get the attention of the engineers that can implement this. I truly hope that this message can spark a conversation to make something happen.
Thank You for your time,
Jonathan

Hi there, @J0nz3n. Thank you so much for sharing your feedback and ideas with us. We can feel how important this topic is to you, and we hear you. Being more accessible to all types of families is certainly something we are always striving to do. Improving the way families can share their VR experience with one another is very important to us. We believe you can not only have a great time using a Quest headset, but also create a lot of cherished memories with your family throughout the VR world. With that being said, we do not have a way to transfer parental ownership of an account at this time. While we do wish we could assist you in this matter, we'd like to suggest you take this over to our Ideas Forum Page to see if any other users feel the same way you do. You can start a thread there where other users who feel the same can comment and share their experience. Plenty of ideas that gained traction with the community in our Ideas Forums were implemented into future updates to help improve the user experience as a whole. Our engineers definitely take note of the popular ideas, suggestions, and feedback that's posted there. Please let us know if you have any other questions, comments, or feedback for us, and we are always here to listen.

When I google now, it sounds like Meta has created a way for a child to send a request to another parent so that that parent can have control. The only part they leave out is how the child generates the request. I cannot find that part

I found a page that claims to be the documentation about how to do this...
https://www.meta.com/help/quest/973948288005209/
It does not indicate how to start the process. the first step it lists is "Your child will receive a notification".
That cannot possibly be the first step... What triggers this notification to be sent?
This is frustrating.
