Hi there, @JoeytheGreat513! Making sure you're able to enjoy your VR experience to the fullest is definitely a priority for us, and we absolutely understand wanting to have your son's progress depicted on the correct account! That said, currently, purchased content and game data are not able to be transferred between accounts, and we do not have the ability to do that here on our side. One option would be to change your existing Meta account into a child’s Meta account with the steps here, however, keep in mind that this would make the account a youth account with all of the same age restrictions. Should you choose to do that, we highly recommend removing any social media or parent-managed account that you have linked first, to avoid any age flags on those accounts. To unlink a social media account, simply log into your Meta Accounts Center, click 'Accounts' to the left, and click 'Remove' on the appropriate account. You will likely need to create a new Meta account for yourself to manage the child account from there, if this is what you would like to do. This is irreversible, so please be sure to fully check out what that entails. We hope this helps and is able to clear up the situation a bit more for you. Should any further issues pop up, please don't hesitate to reach back out!

Isn't it ridiculous that I cant migrate all of the in game purchases to my child's account off of mine? I'm not playing monkey do... But I want the safety and over site that having a child sub account brings. I shouldn't have to sacrifice my gamer tag and account so that my child can have a safer environment. This process discourages creating a sub account for children when the in game content and games cant be migrated with the account. This will discourage the child from playing, and I'm not going to be playing... so you will lose revenue. Seems like an easy process to remedy. You could even charge a transfer fee and capitalize on more revenue. Although I'm tempted to just not let my kid play anymore. This process encourages that.

Hey there, @TapNRack and welcome to the community forums!

I can certainly understand your frustration with this process when you just want to share your games and in-game purchases with the child account 🎮

I'd highly recommend dropping this as a suggestion over on the Ideas Forum as I can certainly see how his would benefit users.

Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing you engage on more community posts in future 🙂

What happened with apps purchased on my account rated over 13 if I transfer my account to child’s. Will I loose them when I set up my new parental account? Or they will be still accessible on my parental account? Will all progress in games be transferred ( obviously child’s age appropriate)
